AmpliTube UA is a revolutionary free companion app to iRig UA. It transforms any Android device into a highly versatile mobile guitar and bass multi-effects processor. With AmpliTube UA, musicians can enjoy the flexibility and high-quality sound sculpting that AmpliTube is renowned for. Regardless of the make or model of your Android phone, you can now access AmpliTube's extensive collection of ultra-realistic virtual amplifiers, stompbox effects, cabinets, and more.

AmpliTube UA is a free app that offers a comprehensive selection of meticulously recreated virtual versions of some of the most sought-after gear on the market. It comes with 21 pieces of gear for iRig UA users, and this collection can be expanded up to 43 through in-app purchases. The app includes 9 effects: Noise Filter, Delay, Overdrive, Wah, Chorus, Flanger, Phazer, Octave (plus Distortion upon registration). Additionally, you can utilize these stompbox effects with 5 amplifiers that come with matching cabinets: Lead, Clean, Bass, Crunch, and Metal. The app also provides two microphones (dynamic and condenser) that allow for virtual positioning and miking of your setup. Whether you're aiming for a shredding sound like Slash and Jimi Hendrix™ or a more mellow jazz, country, or folk tone, AmpliTube UA offers limitless possibilities. Moreover, you can expand your gear collection with a-la-carte gear and bundles from renowned brands such as Fender®, Orange®, Ampeg®, and Soldano®. The app even provides exclusive content from the AmpliTube Slash and AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix™ collections.

To fully utilize the capabilities of AmpliTube UA, it is necessary to pair it with an iRig UA digital audio interface. When combined, these two devices empower musicians to play in real-time without any noticeable device processing delay - a first in the Android platform. The on-board digital signal processor of the iRig UA works seamlessly with AmpliTube UA. Since all the processing occurs in the iRig UA hardware and not on the Android device itself, consistent zero latency performance (with a total latency as low as 2ms round-trip) is achieved, regardless of the make or model of the connected smartphone or tablet.

While an iRig UA is not connected to the device, you can still use certain functions of AmpliTube UA in a "preview" mode. This allows full utilization of its extensive collection of amplifiers, stompboxes, cabinets, and microphones through the provided "dry" audio demo. However, an iRig UA is required to access audio-in and guitar processing functionality.
